What is a Community Agent

Your Community Agent is employed on a part-time basis by Chirk Town Council to provide a FREE service for Chirk residents who are over 50. The Goal is to improve quality of life by connecting people with the services they need. When you do not know who to call or you are unsure or unable to contact services, your Community Agent can help you. Agents have a wealth of knowledge and contacts. They are fully DBS security checked and can visit you in your own home where you can talk openly in complete confidence. Community Agents also work hard to help the community grow by assisting new clubs and activities (such as Chirk Community cupboard and Warm Hub), obtaining funding and helping to find volunteers and resources.
